Re: Due to arrive tomorrow

Does it have any "packs" added to spec? Most stock cars have an L-Tech pack which adds full keyless, lit door handles, auto parking. Standard V2 spec is 19" wheels (best looking of the bunch IMO), a wireless phone charger (that works poorly), dual zone climate, seat/steering wheel hea...

Re: Bits ya bought...

If they have an existing pattern for a VW ID3, they could use those and change the logo.

Re: Full range

I would be interested to know if the recirc is 100% or if there is a bleed of outside air like building AC systems to achieve a statutory air change rate. It'll be a partial ingress to maintain a decent level of O2 with minimal CO2 build up, given there's probably only about 8m3 of air in the car. ...

Re: My Born small improvement’s

Very interesting to see if anyone fits this kit it doesn’t have the missing data fault in control unit 8125 You mean you'd like a lend of their dongle? Still unsure whether I can be bothered to upgrade, especially as the wife and I use the 2 Borns interchangeably, so that's 2 cars that would ...

Re: Born yesterday

Had my 2022 V2 E-Boost, 77 Kwh with Tech Pack L since 19th Oct and also bought it at Citygate Slough. Cannot praise them enough for their service throughout the purchase and handover period. Buying an EV for the first time and setting all the tech up on the Born and app from what I have been readin...

Re: Full range

When heating or cooling the car, using air recirculation has a big positive impact - don't expend all that energy immediately heating or cooling the car then immediately dump it and heat/cool some more. Maintaining 22C in the cabin? That's toasty, 17C is plenty for me. If its a cold but sunny day, y...

Citygate Twickenham were also great for my White V2.

SMC Woking were downright awful though (for the wife's Aurora blue V2).

Re: Cheap and easy wireless phone charger

Probably works better than the official fitted one that turns your phone into a handy hand warmer for the Winter but adds very little charge.

Re: Full range

Hi, new to the forum and new to electric cars I had my born v3 58kw for about two weeks now and completely love it. Today was the first time it was charged to 100% and was a bit disapoint with the range displayed 165 miles on all the reviews, which states about 226 miles. It is in comfort mode. Is ...
