Re: Wing mirror dismantling

20250207_135655.JPG sketch-1738937049441.jpg That's what I thought, I know it's not been hit while I'm in the car, and it's spends most of the time on my drive where it's very unlikely to have been hit, small chance it was knocked in a car park but no signs of damage. I suspect he glue holding it i...

Re: Wing mirror dismantling

I've just had the mirror back fall off my mirror. The whole mirror was replaced at the end of last year after an accident. It appears to me that the backing was held on by a couple of flimsy clips and glue. Is that right? Should there be glue or did the body shop bodge it back together?

Thanks

Re: Heat Pump Servicing

Why? Because they can charge you for the work and they have lost work as EV's (should) need less maintenance.

Re: Sennheiser sound system worth it?

I only have the Bose system but I find some things sound amazing (Jimmy Hendrix, Foxy Lady) on it, some stuff really doesn't. And I believe the contents of the boot affect the effectiveness of the sub.

Pre-heating

For a while now when I pre-heat the car with the heated seat set to be on, I'll get in the car to no heated seat but a very hot steering wheel. I have the automatic steering wheel heat option turned off as it doesn't take too long for it to get too hot, and as turning the steering wheel heat isn't a...

Re: Damp roads

What makes tyres do you have on? The tread might be fine but maybe they just aren't very grippy tyres. I went back to the Continentals mine was delivered with as I found they gripped better then the Goodyears I put on after.

Re: Nav and boot-up getting slower?

My car went to the bodyshop for a fortnight in December. I'm pretty sure when I got it back the software had been "updated" and was slower like it used to be. The last couple of days I've noticed that the icons at the bottom of the screen seem to be missing for the first few seconds once t...
