Re: Rear speakers retrofit, unlock for coding.
Ok, tried with "signal_flow_topology" to "0" and there is no change in the EQ settings, it seems like only 3 of the sliders work (110Hz, 1KHz and 10kHz) but otherwise the sound seems fine. Not really fussed about the sliders as I never used them anyway

Re: Rear speakers retrofit, unlock for coding.
I've just realised that my EQ settings are a bit messed up, like others have been saying, so it looks like the Kufatec dongle doesn't in fact make the correct coding changes. The rear speakers do work but they sound a bit bassy and somewhat lower volume than the front ones. Will investigate changing...

Re: New OTA update
VAG group cars may well be built to a much more German standard but the likes of Tesla really show them up when it comes to software My friends 2020/2021 Tesla is getting a free update to enable Matrix LED headlights :o To be fair, those Model 3s were shipped from the factory with Matrix LED headli...

Re: New OTA update
That's correct. 3.2.1 is the latest that a car can be updated to either OTA or by the dealer. Some people in Germany have been getting OTA updates. New cars have been coming with 3.5 or I think even 3.7, but cars with versions older than these cannot update to them, at least for now. AFAIK the plan ...

Re: Rear speakers retrofit, unlock for coding.
I have no idea if the Kufatec dongle is VIN locked once it's used. The read I took today for the screenshots was a day after having done the coding, so the unit must have restarted since then.

Here are screenshots of the fader controls working for front/back as well as side to side: IMG_7507.jpeg Here are the equaliser controls working as normal: IMG_7508.jpeg Here are screenshots from OBDEleven, showing that Channel 1 TT and Chanel 4 TT are Active and that Signal Flow Topology is unchang...

Re: Battery Degradation - 58kwh
I charged my car to 100% for the first time in quite a while yesterday and was disappointed to see the range as 192 miles when it should be 212 as far as I am concerned. Should be 212 miles based on what? The range displayed takes into account your recent driving, it will show more range if you've ...

Re: WhatsApp CarPlay not reading/announcing
How were you getting the messages announced? Using Siri? If I use Siri I ("Siri read me my messages") it will read them out, and give me the chance to reply by dictation. This works with or without being connected to CarPlay.

Re: Rear speakers retrofit, unlock for coding.
I finally got this all installed. It's a hell of a job. I used OBDEleven to do the unlocking of the audio module (8125) and then used the Kufatec dongle. I didn't check exhaustively, but it looks like the only thing that changed is that Channel 1 TT and Channel 4 TT were made active. The Signal_Flow...

Re: Charging speed? Why is it so slow?
If you’re on a super fast charger yes, but on a 50kW charger you usually get 50kW all the way to 80%, and then the last 20% take for ever.
