Rattle from the overhead console

I've recently started hearing a really annoying rattle in the overhead console (where the cabin lights, SOS call button etc are). It's most noticeable when driving on cobbled streets (of which there are a lot in Lisbon). Has anyone else had this? If I press against the console from the side the ratt...

Re: Watch videos on the screen

No, there is no way to play YouTube videos from your phone. There are some 3rd party devices that claim to let you "add" YouTube and other apps, but honestly I wouldn't trust them. It looks like they are basically an Android device that screen mirrors to your car's screen, in a similar way...

Re: Lane Assist - remembering the previous setting!

My car in Portugal has it. I had completely forgotten that you can drag and drop different items to the favourites.
Software 3.2.1.

Re: [UK] - Updated real-world range figures and e-Boost functionality?

In the summer here in Portugal I can get about 290km (180 miles) on the motorway (at 120km/h, about 75mph) going from 100% to 10% SOC with my 58kWh car with luggage and the full family (2 adults, 2 kids). Annoyingly it means I can't quite get from Lisbon to Tavira in the Algarve (300km) without char...

Re: Tyre wear

I would also be interested in the regen setting you are typically using? Are you always in B mode etc? B or D mode will have no effect at all on tyre wear. The only difference B mode makes is that regens when you lift off the throttle, and so starts to slow the car down. If you want to slow down in...

Re: Tyre wear

I've had my Born for a year and have done a bit more than 20,000kms (about 12,500 miles) and my tyres are still fine. They're Continental Eco Contact 6.

Re: Infotainment constantly telling me off for trying to use it -

That's odd. I've only seen that warning very rarely, and only if I'm messing about tin the settings, but it could also be triggered by sensors that monitor driver alertness.

Re: Battery Charge Levels

a standard consumption value, like miles per kwh. Odd that someone living in Switzerland would user miles per kwh and not kW per 100km 😅 I grew up in the UK and was used to MPG, but 20 years living in Portugal and I'm fully converted to l/100km and kW/100km. I get anything from 12kW/100km in gentle...

Re: Battery Charge Levels

As a very rough guide I also have 3km per 1% (same as 2 miles per 1%), but it can vary hugely depending on all kinds of factors. If the weather is cold the range drops significantly, I've seen about a 20% drop in range with temps around 5C compared with driving the same stretch of motorway in 25C we...

Door card retaining clips

Having had some considerable trouble with these clips when removing the rear door cards in order to install rear speakers, I wish I had seen this video first. Explains exactly how they work (which I eventually figured out) and, more importantly, how you can "release" them. https://www.yout...
