10,000 Miles with the Cupra Born
I got my born in summer of 2023 and have now done 10,000 miles in the car, so I thought this would be the ideal opportunity to give a little review about life with the Born. Looks I still absolutely love the design of the Born; it's what drew me to the car over other EVs and I'm happy to say that I ...

Re: No jack with the Born as standard?
Came down to my car this morning; flat as a pancake. Pressed the breakdown button in the car - "Call cancelled. Try again" again and again. Called the number provided in the mobile app. "The number you have dialled has not been recognised." Went online and called the number on th...

Re: No jack with the Born as standard?
So I have a tyre iron. But no inflation kit. I'm used to not getting a spare tyre these days, but no inflation kit? Odd.

Got my Born two weeks ago, and I LOVE it. A really lovely drive, and I've not experienced any problems yet... ...apart from the wipers. Aside from them being for a left hand-drive car and leaving a line of water directly in my vision, the main issue is that the automatic rain sensor doesn't work. D...

Re: Order Lead Times
My V2 58kW has had the status of "Built - Awaiting Transit" since 13th February. Sat at an exit port apparently. So god knows when it'll get on a boat and how long it'll take after that!

Aaaaaaand now early May. Had the same status since 13th February - "Built - Awaiting Transit".
Very frustrating to know it's ready and waiting at a port - hate to think how many seagulls have gone to the toilet on it.

Re: New Born Arriving Early March; Some Trepidation...
So, early March turned to early April, and now to late April. Apparently the car is built and registered, but sat at the exit port awaiting a ship...

Re: New Born Arriving Early March; Some Trepidation...
The iD.3 has just been refreshed and it does look as though they've taken those criticisms on board in terms of the interior. It looks a lot smarter now, though I think I still prefer the overall interior design of the Born; can't speak to the quality yet, as the early March delivery hasn't material...
