Re: Battery heating never starts

I see, thanks! When warming up the cabin via app while the car is plugged in, does the battery receive any sort of heating as well?

Re: Battery heating never starts

You can’t really tell unless you observe the car to be using an enormous amount of energy for no apparent reason (I saw my ID3 using over 7kW while stationary. I’ve never seen the Born do this though. The only other way you can assume it might have been active is if the green regen bar or blue powe...

Re: Battery heating never starts

Sorry for the dumb question. How can I know if battery heating is active or not? Is this related to the heat pump?

Re: OBDeleven Travel Assist

At least in Spain, since a few weeks ago the Born can be ordered with Pilot L, including Travel Assist. Maybe it will now be possible to order the proper Eboost steering wheel with capacitive sensors via the official dealer, and have it fitted there without warranty issues? Can the e-Boost variant ...

Re: eBoost requirements battery

Very interesting graph, thanks! It looks like almost full power is retained down to 70%. I'm surprised about the total power output stated on the graph. I thought it would default to 204hp whenever eboost was unavailable, but according to this data we get significantly more power than 204hp down to ...

Re: OBDeleven Travel Assist

HI! Has anyone managed to replace the steering wheel with a capacitive one? Or, even better, is there any way to disable the requirement to move/touch the steering wheel every few seconds? I'd really like to activate Travel Assist, but I'd like to do it the proper way, since I do a lot of motorway d...

Re: eBoost requirements battery

Hi! Is there any news about the SoC requirements for the eboost to kick in on the 77kwh model? I've been unable to find any info on that (aside from what's stated in the first post) and the dealer had no idea about that. Aside from this, I understand eboost will also kick it if you floor regardless ...

Newly Born

Hi there from Barcelona! Just received my 77kwh Born last week. I'm a huge petrolhead, and this is my first EV (not that I've forgone ICE cars, this will be just for daily driving to work). As of now, I'm quite content with the car. Milage could be better in cold weather, considering I payed for the...
