Re: Order Lead Times

I ordered through my Company scheme operated by Zenith. They were quoting 3-4months. I only checked 58kwh models though.

Should have gone for Red they are faster 😃
I really like the red looks great. I would have gone for red if it was available “in stock” but the lead time between “in stock” - which ended up being 7 weeks from order to deliver - and build to order was several months.

Re: Battery heating never starts

… Am watching with interest the evolving situation with the infotainment issues… I had an over the air update as soon as I had set up the car - Media Codec 3.1.4 Control Panel Unit 6085. So encouraging that updates are still coming out. But there is a bit of lag when selecting the “three panel scre...

Re: Disappointing charging rate

I was using the Gridserve 50kW at Michaelwood services yesterday (after a re-park - hadn’t realised each unit only has one Tethered DC charger). Ambient 9C, starting from around 28% and it hit 45kW from the start. I think the bigger the theoretical charge rate the bigger the variance and the greater...

… I'd be looking for a more favourable opinion from a different dealership. Had this many times with VWs - 2 Lookers dealerships on my doorstep that seem averse to doing warranty work… That reminds me the first VW I bought from a main dealer had an intermittent problem with the ECU where the engine...

Hello and initial impressions

Hello all, I have been lurking a couple of days after my Born arrived last week. First EV, though have test driven a couple of other EVs. Mark 1 Leaf had really poor range and the Tesla S felt really heavy (particularly going around roundabouts) and realistically out of my price range. I’m very plea...
