Re: Charging speed? Why is it so slow?
Various The car was warmed up as motorway journey. I'd estimate 10%, 40%, 60% and 50%. So I was never above 80% when the charge tends to slow down. It's not at 80% that it tends to slow down, it's way before... Here's a charging curve I've found: https://evkx.net/models/cupra/born/born_58/chargingc...

Re: Who’s happy with their Born ?
One thing I would add to my comments above is that even though I think the infotainment is actually not that bad, the navigation software, both map quality and route planning, is pretty poor. If you compare it to Apple Maps or Google Maps it's no contest. I only navigate using CarPlay apps (mostly ...

Re: Who’s happy with their Born ?
I'm generally happy with my Born, comfort, handling, space, running costs, etc., I can even live with the infotainment, which admittedly not being the most intuitive, one gets used to it. It's now with ~52000Kms on the clock. Despite having never bee stranded, what I'm not so happy with is that, in ...

Re: Charge time remaining in the app
I believe that happens when you're charging by routine, only. You can try and remove that routine and re-check.

Re: Remote air con deactivated
As I gather from the latest update mine got, some of those features now may require you to register a user in the car instead of a guest. Once I did that, some "deactivated" features were immediately made available in my app.

Re: Puddle / mirror down lights extra marks in Cupra logo
I wonder if it's going through a drive through car wash? It's the only thing I can think of that could maybe cause damage to the mirrors, which would happen to them both at the same time - and high potential for water ingress with a high powered pressure washer and brushes flailing around. It actua...

Re: Interior Quality
Ok let me ask you it in a different way. Say you didn't own the car and it was a family members. You were in their car sat in the back seats. Now knowing what the quality it like in the rear, how would you feel? Disappointed? I think you'll be disappointed with a lot of cars with your point of view...

Re: AC charging fault
I had that message pop up within the first month of ownership, difference being everything was working normally as far as I could tell. Took a month and a half to have the car back.
