Re: Steering wheel marks

@sabredentist your first bullet point is what I thought but your second one is also interesting. The local Cupra dealer is having a look at the car in 13 days- I’ll report back.

Re: Steering wheel marks

This couldn’t be jeans as it’s on the top. I also think the marks are too regular to be caused by something moving over it. In another forum for a different model of Cupra someone had something similar that they thought was caused by the heating element in the wheel.

Steering wheel marks

I recently noticed that my steering wheel has a series of marks along the top on the outside. They are like little nicks 3 or 4mm apart. The nicks are very regularly spaced over a length of maybe 8cm. I definitely didn’t scuff the wheel in any way. Has anyone else had anything similar happen? IMG_40...

Re: Tyre wear

I would have thought tyre wear on the rears would be mostly influenced by the driving style ie how hard the car is accelerated. There is a huge amount of available torque so the potential to wear out the tyres quickly.

Re: Quick hello from UK - Born V2 - first month

Cloudfury2 It’s nice of you to be concerned but I’m sure I won’t focus on it. I think if you notice something as you have, you initially think something is wrong, perhaps even a design fault, but once you have accepted it, your brain ignores it. I’m confident you’ll get used to it.

Re: Quick hello from UK - Born V2 - first month

I have a Born V2. I haven’t noticed an issue with the dashboard being reflected in the windscreen. I suspect it’s one of those things where once you notice it, you get drawn to looking at it. Luckily I am on holiday in Spain- if I was to check it out in my own car I might end up being afflicted as w...

Re: Dashcam Question(s)

It is easy enough for a fitter to do the install but don’t use RS Connect. I booked them to fit dashcams to three cars and they messed up all three installations. I should add that I had Nextbase dashcams in two of them (the units themselves were fine).
