Re: Can I Demist windscreen without A/C?

I don't know to what degree this applies to EV cars but it is generally accepted that with ICE cars, you need to keep the AC on at least a significant proportion of the week otherwise it stops working. I have always kept it on all the time in my cars and they never gave any trouble but my wife rarel...

Price Increase

My local Cupra dealer told me that there will be a £1800 price increase on the Born from 1 Oct. I don't know if anyone else has heard about this? The guy was telling me this to try and make me hurry up and make a purchase (actually I have already ordered one - I just went to the dealer to have a loo...

Born and Id3 on order- which to keep?

I have an Id3 (life pro perf, heat pump, bike hitch) on order due March and a Born V2 e boost, tech L due in Oct. I definitely want to take delivery of the Born as I don’t want to wait another 5 months for the Id3. I like the idea of the extra power of the E boost (not a deal breaker though) but wou...

Re: Hello everyone (Michael from Durham)

Interesting re the self parking. Am I correct in thinking that the tyres are big enough (ie not too low profile) that the wheels shouldn’t sustain damage due to kerbing?

Re: Hello everyone (Michael from Durham)

I have an id3 on order but decided yesterday to order a Born V2, Glacier White, e boost, tech pack L. I ordered from Citygate Slough. They reckon I should get it on 7 Oct 22. I got £1k off list. Not sure how certain I can be if collection date as it is still a way off (5 weeks). No discounting on l...

Re: Hello everyone (Michael from Durham)

Many thanks for that Monkeyhanger- my other car is a Porsche Cayman GTS 4 and I am paranoid about kerbing its 20” wheels. The cupra’s are pretty big at 19” but much higher profile so less vulnerable.

Re: Hello everyone (Michael from Durham)

Monkeyhanger, does the car have an aerial view of the car (so you can see it’s position in relation to its surroundings?
