Re: Born yesterday

I'm not going to share my story again but it's freely available on this forum.

My supplying dealer was Slough Citygate and my experience is total opposite of those with glowing reports. Still waiting for my promised payment (in email) for a valet that was carried out.

Re: Winter wheels

CoC means certificate of conformity. It's full title is European certificate of conformity. It's a worldwide accepted document that shows the Cars specs and emissions as it left the factory.

In regards to the UK, the UK is one of the most lax countries in the world when it comes to car modifications.

Re: Finally no longer un_born!

haha... Good point but the faster you go, the less distance you have before you need to charge. For example I need to make a 5hr (250miles) round trip tomorrow and although the Born could make it with a rapid charge at the destination, it's just not worth the hassle. The Tarraco will do the return w...

Re: Finally no longer un_born!

As this is the Mrs car, I still have a ICE as my own, a Tarraco 2.0TSI. I rarely drive it around town anymore, as I'll take the Born if its not being used. On longer journeys, I must admit I prefer the Tarraco for the larger size and higher cruising speed.

Finally no longer un_born!

After being one of the first to place my £500 deposit in January, we finally got to drive our (2nd) Born in early October. We had a call from the dealer in late May to say our car had finished production and expect to be collecting in 2-3weeks. June came, July... August.... September.... After press...

Re: What EV charger

We charge ours on a Wallbox Pulsar+. Our electrician fitted it. We don't use any of the timers as I'm on flat rate electric and its never had any issue.

Re: FITCAM X Mirror Connector

I didn't fit the Fitcam branded one. Mine is branded Lenovo and I got mine from China (Taobao) and it didn't come with the plug and play harness

Well, I tested for hours and the power kept live. Took power from the fusebox in the end.

Re: FITCAM X Mirror Connector

I thought as much. However, mine has stayed on for at least 30mins. I've unplugged it for the time being and will investigate further in the daylight.

FITCAM X Mirror Connector

To those who have the fitcam X fitted, when does the dashcam switch off? Does it go off same time as you lock the car?

I took power from the same place as the fitcam X does but my power is live even after the car is locked.
