Re: Disabling Main Beam Assist

Just pull the stalk back? Am I missing something...not tried them yet! Exactly my thought when playing last night, but no - pulling the stalk back flashes the main beam and pushing it forward overrides the auto and turns the main beam on and off as it would in any car, but in this case "off&qu...

Disabling Main Beam Assist

Hopefully an easy one: Lights on auto, main beam assist enabled by pushing the indicator stalk away (so icon + "A" shown on the dash) and it's happily managing the main beam lights for me. I now drive into a built-up area, so want to disable it to stop it accidentally turning them on, but ...

Re: Snag list

- App - Door lock status unavailable - App - Doors and lights unavailable Has anyone managed to get this working yet, or is it waiting on further software updates? Took a fair bit of faffing to get the app all linked up and would rather not repeat the exercise if it's not going to result in a fix...

Re: My Cupra app

I heard back from the dealer yesterday too. They said the system used to register us to the cars is still down (lol). Means the lock/unlock, light control, and the licences for emergency calling and breakdown will all still be disabled! Hmmm, not sure if talking about the same thing, but I was able...

Re: Battery Charging Advice Needed

Set the 80% ceiling in the car and use the smart charger to schedule as per your cheap charging times. Getting thecar to schedule charging times will lead to issues. Official VW recommendations are 80% to 20% in the Summer and 80% to 40% in the Winter. Given that the UK generally has very mild wont...

Re: Battery Charging Advice Needed

On the subject of this how are people managing both battery level cut-off and charge windows (e.g. to take advantage of cheaper overnight tariffs)? Right now, I have the car itself set up for 80%, and am using the Ohme Pro charger to manage the schedule, but it feels a bit clunky to use two sources...

Re: My Cupra app

I have the app connected to the car now - took a great deal of faffing and, mostly I think, a software update to the car followed by trying to work out how to get it to reboot! Is it just me or is the app almost astonishingly, dreadfully slow? I don't mean "a bit sluggish" - it's more in t...
