Re: can new Cupra Born have recalls?
Our original 77kw Born was recalled in transit from Germany. They discovered all 130 odd cars for the UK had a steering power fault. This in retrospect was a good thing.

Re: Steering fault after tyre change?
The warning message says power issue. A search on the interweb shows that someone with an ID4 had a similar problem and was related to faulty cable between 12v battery and power steering unit.
We now don't there was a link with the tyre change. Just coincidence.

Re: [UK] - Updated real-world range figures and e-Boost functionality?
Mainly motorway in winter on the 77kwh Born can give us at 210 miles range with 3 adults and luggage. Pretty good. 210 in winter (sub zero) with fully loaded car is excellent. Any peeps seen this issue? Wife's Born needed a new front tyre. After fitting the car developed a fault with the power steering. Any thoughts on why this should happen?

Re: Battery Charge Levels
External temperatures, load, wind, rain and tyre pressures all effect range. But in good conditions I also get 20 miles per 10% or more with wife's heavy 77kwh variant.

Issue with Instavolt Chargers
We've recently had three occasions where the initial plug in seemed to start a charge and then it failed within a few seconds. On all three occasions we had to move to another charger before we had success. I wonder if Instavolt have upgraded their software ?
