Re: Cupra Born EV Spotted In The Wild

At M40 Southbound Warwick Services saw a V3 with 20 inch Firestorm wheels with red body colour. A bit of self indulgence as after my wife got her V3 with Firestorm last June, we had not seen one on the road.

Re: Battery recalibration?

I've seen something similar going from 80% to 30% in one journey. After leaving the car for about 4 hours noticed about 2% increase in SoC. Has happened about twice with the first time having 1% increase.

Re: Who’s happy with their Born ?

Our V3 Born with DCC is my wife's. Previously owned a Focus ST3. She'll never go back to ICE. The Born is easy to drive, great handling, comfortable, lots of interior space given external footprint and looks good with the 20 inch Firestorm wheels. I enjoy driving it. Majority of our charging is off ...

Re: can new Cupra Born have recalls?

Our original 77kw Born was recalled in transit from Germany. They discovered all 130 odd cars for the UK had a steering power fault. This in retrospect was a good thing.

Re: Steering fault after tyre change?

The warning message says power issue. A search on the interweb shows that someone with an ID4 had a similar problem and was related to faulty cable between 12v battery and power steering unit.

We now don't there was a link with the tyre change. Just coincidence.

Re: [UK] - Updated real-world range figures and e-Boost functionality?

Mainly motorway in winter on the 77kwh Born can give us at 210 miles range with 3 adults and luggage. Pretty good. 210 in winter (sub zero) with fully loaded car is excellent. But for these numbers to mean anything, please define “range”, your theoretical range from 100 to 0 SOC or a more realistic...

Steering fault after tyre change?

Any peeps seen this issue? Wife's Born needed a new front tyre. After fitting the car developed a fault with the power steering. Any thoughts on why this should happen?
