Re: New owner
The range in my Born seems a little better than my previous ID3. I don't do a great deal of long drives so use the range prediction as a guide. When temperatures are above 14C I'm close to 300 miles for a full charge, no Climate ON. My long term average from June 22 to Date is 4.1 miles/kW. Not bad....

Hi M4rco. Welcome to the forum.
Think a number here like myself have switched from an ID3 but can't recall anyone from an ID4.
What led you to the Born?

Re: Always leave the car connected to charger if possible?
Tesla recommends owners who have a home charger to always leave the car connected to the charger as much as possible. Partly so that certain features like "Sentry mode" don't drain the battery and also so that pre-heating the car is done with current from the charger and not using the bat...

Re: Should I buy a Born until the issues are resolved
Like Monkey hanger I have had an ID3 and now a Born since June 22. There is a lot said about issues of both cars and although some can be an irritation it's not like a long walk with a stone in your shoe. I adapted to the haptic buttons in no time at all. I occasionally touch a button on the wheel b...

Re: Heko wind deflectors
I was going to fit them to leave windows open slightly in summer for less noise & save on using air con but they apparently don't reduce wind noise. If you want the outside air you can run on fan only by selecting LO temperature with the AC button off but Climate ON. You then have fan only that...

Nice. The blue'ish grey looks like the colour of some of trim in my UK Born standard set up.

Re: How long until current trip is reset?
How long does the car have to be stopped before it resets the current trip (consumption, distance, average speed etc shown as "Since start")? This morning I took my daughter to speech therapy, got out for 2-3 minutes to take her to the door, then went back and sat in the car with the radi...

Hi mluisbrown and welcome to the forum.
No rear speakers rattles a lot of owners. We are all different and it doesn't bother me. I rarely have any music on at all.
Do you have a blue interior? Not seen that before.
I thought all Borns were black!
