Re: Heat Exchanger
I've been on the ID3 and Born forums for 3 years and this is the first post I recall seeing re heat exchanger. Not much help I know but think it must be rare. Other than a leak or blockage there isn't much that can go wrong with a heat exchanger so would guess its more to do with the control side of...

Re: Click sound from rear wheels
Im taking my car into Cupra Bromley on March the 11th about this click that I still get when braking but more accurately as the car comes to a halt under braking. Its been a while since anyone posted on this thread and wondered if anyone else had any updates? I m hoping to be able to test drive it w...

Re: 100% charge
Put car on charge overnight as I do every Wednesday evening, set to charge to 80% as normal, but woke this morning checked the app and the cars charged to 100% Don’t understand how that can be, I certainly didn’t change any settings in the car and the Zappi and octopus Intelligence can’t override t...

Re: 10,000 Miles with the Cupra Born
Thanks for your write up Jim jamming. I think if I had produced a write up after my 20 months of ownership it would be very similar. I would only add though that the Winter/Summer range is common to all EVs so not directly a critism of the Born. This is the price you pay for a warm cabin from a vehi...

Re: Intelligent Octopus and Cupra
Is Octopus controlling your charger? That is that there are no schedules present in the Charger App or the car itself? I charge via a PodPoint Solo. All scheduled charges are switched off, same in car. When I plug in Octopus produces a schedule in "Devices" in the Octopus App. Are you gett...

Re: Opinions on where the EV market is going?
I think it depends a little on your country, here in Australia the government (State & Federal) seem committed to propping up the EV market, but I wonder if that will change (like other positions the government has reversed recently). Here in Australia there are significant tax benefits in owni...

I didn't know the Polestar was built in China. My old Company, Ford, are miles behind so wouldn't be surprised to see them sourcing builds there.
At the moment they plan to build in Romania.

Opinions on where the EV market is going?
I'm looking around for a small EV for my Son as a second car for his Wife and this popped up on the leasing App I have. A car for not much more than you spend on a phone and coffees for the month??? The GWM ORA 3 is renamed from the funky cat. At £115/month on lease for 24 months may not be everyone...
