Re: New order - lead time

I ordered 30th May, was originally told to expect delivery in January. Last Monday I was told my car is at Emden awaiting a ship & that they expected it by the end of the month. I don't think that'll happen, but I'm cautiously optimistic for a mid-late December collection. Well... yesterday I h...

Re: New order - lead time

Mmmm I was told you could not have a pano roof on a V3 version (maybe only the V3 77kw) 🙁 Nope. If you check the online configurator, you'll see that the Pano Roof is an option on all models. I checked everything out before I went to the dealer and I needed to tell them what was available. There ar...

Re: Sunroof lead time

I ordered a V3 Eboost with the pan roof in May, and I have just today had an email to say it's on it's way to the docks, so just over 5 months from order to build completion. I was given an estimate of January for collection when I ordered, so I might even be slightly ahead of this (depending on how...

Re: New car, what network cards/apps

It's a shame that Cupra don't offer a charging card/service in the UK as they seem to in Europe. I'm currently driving an A250e (awaiting delivery of my Born) and I have the Mercedes Me charge card which makes public charging nice & easy. Although hopefully we'll see more public chargers support...

Re: Anyone managed to order yet?

Ordered 30th May, had a phone call last week to say that I've got a build week of October 17th (not sure which week number this is) and that my car should hopefully be ready for collection by late November/early December!

Re: My Born small improvement’s

it's a shame that dashcams aren't integrated in more modern cars these days, especially EVs which have the battery tech/capacity to do this. Also when you consider there is literally a camera in the front windscreen already, it surely wouldn't be much of a stretch to make it double up as a dashcam l...

Re: My Born small improvement’s

Car looks great!

Do the cameras work when the car is off, or do they only work/record when the car is on?
Is there an app that you can access the camera feed on?

Re: Anyone managed to order yet?

My dealer has confirmed that my order has been sent to the factory, and that she'll let me know when I've been allocated a build week.

...and now we play the waiting game

I saw that on the ID3 forum, they have a spreadsheet to track deliveries - might be quite a good idea to get one set up over here

Re: Anyone got an e-boost yet?

Only speaking from my short test drive of an e-Boost, and haven't driven the ID3, but using Cupra mode didn't apply the same regen as B mode. B mode is a very noticeable slow-down when you lift off the accelerator, whereas I don't remember much (certainly not significant) braking being applied when ...
