Re: Odd software behaviour

It’s a shame, because the car itself is really good and a pleasure driving, but software is such an integral part of cars these days, VW really should get their shit together.

Re: Odd software behaviour

Welcome to the Born 😂

All the things you mention have happened to me as well… bugs everywhere it seems (or sloppy programming combined with German way of decision making?)

Cold weather=not full power?

Ok, so 1°C today and I notice the little blue bar indicating power doesn’t go all the way… Suspect this is the battery being cold, and not being able to deliver full power to the motor?

Re: Heating

Getting colder here nowadays, and the AC works in… um, mysterious ways. Either the door/window is sealed badly, or the windscreen air outlet blow seemingly cool air along the driver side window because it feel like there’s a draft. Feels like something is not right. Anybody experiencing something si...

Re: Question from a potential buyer

Specs might be different in OZ, but…

1. No seat memory on cars here in Sweden.

2. CarPlay/AA is wireless here.

Ambient lighting for the plebs.

What is the thing with ambient lighting in cars these days? If it’s somewhat subdued, I MIGHT understand it, but it seems the masses like to believe they have a luxury vehicle, and really crave that shit. Well, who the F wants to have lots of strong LED’s lighting up the whole cabin while driving?! ...

Re: So what range are you Guy's currently getting at 80%

According to the GOM, I am supposed to get around 335km on 80% charge, but… as soon as I drive about 10km, the GOM depreciates to about 270km… go figure.

I find the percentage more accurate - I seem to get around 50km using about 14, 15% consistently.

Re: Is the user interface and the touch sensing buttons that bad?

Don’t listen to the haters - it’s not as bad as it seems. I use the adaptive cruise control ALL the time, and it works a treat when you have learnt it. Setting the distance (the button under the ACC) is done once and then you forget about it, so that’s a non-issue. Going back and forward through son...

Improvement points

As the remote control for the garage stopped working, we are left to going old school and open the garage door with a tag😱 Although I noticed this before, as soon as you lift your behind to get to the keys in the pocket easier, the car thinks you are somehow leaving and goes into park… quite annoyin...

Re: Heating

Dog knows how the AC is programmed in this car… hot air from outside vent, cooler air from ONE middle vent, hot from the other. Can’t help but thinking this is yet another software issue, where things aren’t quite the way they should be.
